The out of the box import utility in Webtop does not provide an easy way to import multiple documents of different types, while also setting global and document specific attribute values.  OpenMigrate Lite provides an easy to use interface that allows users to:

• Separate document to import into batches based on document type
• Set global attributes on documents of a given type
• Modify global attributes, or set additional attributes on a document-by-document basis
• Monitor document import progress and identify documents that failed during the import

In addition, OpenMigrate Lite is highly configurable, allowing administrators full control over which document types are valid, and which attributes may be set for each type.  Since the application leverages Adobe Flex, the user interface is free from page refreshes and feels more like a desktop application.
